The Florida Winter Youth Football League provides an opportunity for young men between the ages of 6 and 14 (players ages are based on the FWYFL league age rules click here for those rules) to participate in a competitive tackle football league during the off season winter months of March through May.
The FWYFL operates a league with four divisions of 8 on 8 tackle football, with approximately 6-8 teams in each division, for those young men who wish to participate year around in the game of football. Regular season games are played on Saturday's in Hillsborough County at the Alexander Park facility in Tampa, Click Here for a map. The league also provides a Post Season playoff schedule with a Super Bowl Championship.
All teams are independently registered and coaches from all areas are encouraged to enter their own teams and participate in the division of their choice. The FWYFL also registers players independently, and allocates them to open teams based on geographic residence. Single players, groups of players and/or entire teams may register to play in any one of the divisions.
